Volunteer training has started for new employees

Initiatives for communities

“Volunteer training” has started from 2017 as part of new employees training program. New employees are expected to learn about “contribution to communities”, “teamwork”, and “basic practices and way of thinking as a business person” through the training. They participated in felling in abandoned bamboo forest, maintenance of forest road, and taking measures to resolve wildlife problems in Iijima town and Nakagawa village, Nagano prefecture for four days. They said, “I recognized the problems of local communities and realized the importance of role sharing”, “We worked in group and that was training of KY (Kiken Yochi, risk prediction). I also find that lessons from this experience are useful in real workplace”, “I felt that I contributed to the town.”
