Mitsui Kinzoku Co., Ltd. (NOU Takeshi, President; hereinafter “Mitsui Kinzoku”) announce that we have approached our customers to commence price negotiations for MicroThin™, a core product in our Engineered Materials segment.
As stated in our news release dated January 7, 2025, titled “Mitsui Kinzoku Plans to Increase MicroThin™ Production Capacity,” we are steadily proceeding with increasing production capacity as planned: from fiscal 2027, our monthly production capacity will be increased by 300,000 m² from the current level to 5.2 Million m², and from fiscal 2029, to 5.6 Million m². Through these expansions, we will continue to fully meet the strong demand from our customers.
