Recently, particularly in Asia, there have been various media reports and market rumors regarding our copper foil business, including claims that competition is intensifying due to the entry of Korean company and that our copper foil will no longer be used as a result of the adoption of glass substrates. Some of these reports and rumors contain inaccurate information. As previously communicated, there has been no material change in the business environment or the medium- to long-term growth outlook for our copper foil business.

We continue to see medium- to long-term growth potential for VSP™, our electro-deposited copper foil for high-frequency circuit boards, and MicroThin™, our ultra-thin copper foil, and have also begun considering additional investment to further expand production capacity. Going forward, we will continue to further strengthen our core advantages and strive to enhance corporate value over the medium to long term.
