Copper Foil Division Ageo office exhibited at EcoPro 2017

Utilization of renewable energy

Copper foil Divison Ageo office (Ageo Copper Foil) and Saitama prefecture attended the exhibition “EcoPro 2017” held at Tokyo BigSight, where they showed examples of utilization of renewable energy.
In 2016, Ageo Copper Foil installed “water cooling heat pump” using groundwater heat, making use of renewable energy subsidies by Saitama prefecture.
It is estimated that the electricity use will be reduced by 28% by the equipment, and especially it contributes to energy reduction in summer when cooling load is increased.
It also reduces the risk of suspension of heat source machine breakdown and realizes stable operation of manufacturing equipment.
